How much boost
I just got my car turboed and am wondering how much boost you guys are running in your frs/brz.

Need to be more specific. What turbo? What turbo kit, if one? What fuel? What fuel system upgrades?
I run a conservative 11psi on a PTE5558 on E85. I don't have a "kit" setup. People run 5psi on AVO kits. People run 1 bar on AVO kits. See where I'm going with this? |

As to E85, the only real "negative" is fuel mileage. But you can lean out your cruising AFR a good deal to make it back some. I average ~24mpg highway on E85, ~21mpg mixed, both with a good amount of boost usage. So it's certainly not terrible mileage. And I wouldn't increase your boost on pump gas regardless of what pump and injectors you go to. On E85, yes, turn it up a bit. |
