Dark Liquid (oil?) on muffler tip

Hey guys,
Just threw on my perrin res catback yesterday and today while looking at the rear of the car after a drive when I noticed a strange liquid in the tip.

When I checked it out it was the color of oil, and looking inside the pipe there seemed to be speckles of metal inside the curve.

This was only on one side of the pipe (passenger side)..

I'm a bit worried that its either the exhaust burning stuff up inside itself, or some catastrophic shit going on with the car...

Any advice??

It's unlikely unburned oil made it into, through and out of your exhaust. However, H2O is a by-product of combustion, maybe it was dirty.

That's what I was thinking but it had a dark golden/yellow color to it :/
If it was just dark and watery I wouldn't be as worried

Oh, it's probably just oil and small metal flakes from inside the new part of the exhaust system.

I suggest you take it for a long, hot, drive and then clean up the tips. That should take care of it.....

A good, old-fashion Italian tune up should take care of that.

Haha I realize now that the exhaust is probably slowly getting set because I'm still in the break in process... 600 more miles until redline

Oddly enough I took a 10-15 minute drive and it was there again... however when driving back there was no new "oil" substance.

Could it just be when cold start? I even let the car warm up

Must have been Pop's CLS 550, but that thing has raped everyone who sits in it

Cumin, paprika, chili powder (definitely enchilada sauce). If it tastes oily, its machining or motor oil. If it tastes like nothing, it's rusty or dirty water. If it tastes sweet, it's coolant and/or soda.
