EcuTek Launch Control Parameters

Just wondering what LC parameters people have set.

I have the LC Rev Limiter H value set at 10rpm, but it’s not as fast as I’ve seen for others. It actual seems to bounce like it’s set to 200rpm.

Try reducing the amount of ignition retard from -20 to say -10

Ok thanks, will give that a shot.

What about afr, leaving it at 9.5 shouldn’t affect bounce speed right?

If I may ask here too, out of curiosity... How does the Ecutek LC work? Via fuel cut or ignition cut?

Appears to be ignition based as you can adjust retard amount and also set afr during launch mode

Easy v if you adjist the launch afr from 9.5 be very carefull to check your open loop afr under wide open throttle. I adjusted that parameter a couple of years ago and it appears their was bug in racerom caused my car to run very lean like 15 afr during wot. Luckly i was NA and on e85 so fair margin for error.

Notice your turbo, ecutek may have fixed it i think it was racerom 8 .

That parameter sgould have only effected launch afr but i confirmed it messed up y full throttle afr

I thought I confirmed this as the DI injection max limits based on the log you sent me? Not raised so capping the DI output causing lean on E85. I've not had this issue on mine, AFR is set up to 11.

Im still running same fueling on e85 no lean condition, when i changed that one parameter it wrnt bad, since moved to newer racerom. It was A02G racerom 7 or 8 cannot remember now. If he is on newer racerom likely ok

My di pulse doesnt get much above 5ms, normally, maybe that parameter has some weird effect on di ratio. Didnt you have some other weird issues with A02G as well and went back to A01G

I adjusted the timing from -20 to -10, but not too much difference. Could my ACT Prolite flywheel cause the rev bounce to be wider than Hysterious value of 20rpm would indicate.

Btw, I got my RaceRom updated to 9.1 earlier.

I had a rich issue on RR8 IIRC on the A02G. That may have been caused by using the rear O2 sensor input but I can't confirm. Back on A01G and RR9.1 now.

I wonder whether you want to set the launch and FFS target AFR to lower than you'd expect to see in normal driving anyway.

I believe that profile determines how quickly the "Power" feeds back in as you launch ie the transition to normal from lsunch mode.

Ive noticed you get buch lessbounce if launch rpm is higher like 5000.
