Creaking After Sway Bar Install

I installed the Perrin 19mm adjustable front sway bar a couple of weeks ago, and now I'm getting a creaking noise from the front of the car. It's not too loud, and only happens sporadically. I can't pin it down to a specific cause (turning left, right, bumps, etc.). Does anyone know what could be causing it?

I installed by removing the two chassis members as described in this install, and followed the torque specs it gave when reassembling.

Sorry if this sounds too obvious, but did you remember to lube the bushings? I've found if you don't lube every surface of the bushing, you can get squeaks.

Let me know what you find. My brz does this as well but only turning left and right and at low speeds. Sounds like the power steering is creaking but never could figure out of thats what it was or what was going on.

Wild guess but maybe loosen and then re-torque the fasteners for those sub-frame stabilizers while the wheels are loaded.

I lubed extensively where the bar goes through the bushings. I didn't lube where the bushings meet the brackets, but that seemed to have a decent amount of lube on it already. Maybe I should have added more.

That could be worth a try. I'll have to hit up someone in our PDX/Vantucky group who has ramps so I can get under the car while the wheels are loaded.

Adding a stiff front sway bar sometimes makes the top hats come loose. Worth a shot.
