No,,, it's not really necessary as it's not that loud. I'm still driving the version 2 muffler with just the 'U' to the drivers side output,, and the perforated input pipe. The video really doesn't do the sound justice and I really like it in a daily driver. Not too loud and a decent exhaust note Still need to swap in the 3rd version and see what it's like though.
