In Australia if one wants to keep a native lizard one has to get a license to do so. One has to demonstrate that s/he is aware of the necessities of keeping said reptile.

Unfortunately, there is not the same requirements for having children.

though in some cases, referring to certain children as native lizards is an accurate assessment.

Gaming today is sort of dead to me now, gaming's golden age was before the advent of "in-app purchases". Once that Pandora's box was opened, obviously that will always be game designers' top priority. Now there's little incentive to do anything creative or innovative that doesn't revolve around extracting the maximum users' money.

Having said that though, the lawsuit is still ridiculous.

I would argue the opposite; there's still a lot of good games that don't rely heavily, or at all, on microtransactions. Cyberpunk 2077 comes to mind.

Still, have to agree that the majority of game publishers nowadays want to sell $60+ games that focus too much on microtransactions and loot boxes that supposedly give a sense of "pride and accomplishment."

If you want to get the game industry on something, get them on this instead of scapegoat topics like violence and "gaming addiction."

I don't give a crap about Fortnite, just came in to say I'm having a blast playing Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
If you like sneaking around and popping heads from hundreds of meters out, this game is for you.

Unless you're an old school recon fan like me... then it's just a run and gun looter shooter:/
