The e85 tune was good. Did 13.899 on the gtech. Once the ofh gets here and the 4.67 fd gets installed it should be a bit better.
Virtual dyno is showing 220whp with the e85 tune, while the 2.0v tune was showing. 200whp That's a20whp gain with stock header and cbe

On another note I re-flashed the tune and let it idle for 6 minutes just to be sure. It definitely seems more responsive and powerful throughout the band. I think I will actually be more than satisfied with my car for a few more years until I go full on FI ![]() I will be heading to the track in a week or two as well to see what she pulls on the 1/4. Just curious more than anything ![]() THANKS ROB AND SHIV FOR EVERYTHING !!!!!

Interesting to see how the E85 ESC tune compares to the OFT Vortech tune. The torque curve is basically reversed, hitting the same peak wtq but at opposite ends.
Looks like the ESC with E85 might actually feel faster than the Vortech, given that the torque comes on so soon.

OFT Tune for OFH+Phantom ESC with 1.5 Dump Pack [Beta]
Quote:
The ESC will certainly feel more torque-y sooner, but it still doesn't quite compare to building up boost in a traditional turbo/supercharger setup if you're into that. The best comparison in my opinion is a strong shot of nitrous if you've ever experienced that, only unlimited. For less than 1/3 of the cost, however, ESC is a steal and very unique. I couldn't be happier so far. It'll probably even stop me from pursuing traditional chargers for a long, long time. I've really enjoyed the more "on-demand" power. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

When shifting at WOT i think the rev's drop to about 5000rpm if im not mistaken so Vortech would drop to 175hp and phantom to 185hp. I think the race would be closer than some think especially through the first 3 gears. I dont doubt that vortech would start pulling in 4th and 5th. Well shiv looks like you have some work to do, time to do "comparison" video with both cars either from a dig or a 3k rpm rolling start

What is most likely happening is it is just a better day for ESC boost...Better temp in the battery, cooler air can sway the amount of boost you create by about .5psi. |

Well, this is about as low as I dare to go. I went about 47 miles after the fuel light came on. What a nerve wracking drive. Time to try the E. I hope the rain holds off.

You really should read Steve's instructions on how to flash to e85 and back to petrol. Let it run low then fill up ( not so low your freaking out) then watch your st and Lt fuel trims on the tablet. Once they start going out of whack (15-20) then you can flash. This indicates the e85 is in the fuel lines.
