If the power gains are good, then it's something I might consider as well but without a proper tune we can't fully judge. True but it doesn't mean that we don't have any other contributors that can possibly make a generic safe OTS tune for it. It just takes a bit more time to do so. |

No they used what they had available since OFT wasn't interested in helping develop a tune when they reached out to them. |

I know one of the beta testing requests was the car be dyno'd without the tune tweaked. That will be a good baseline to see how much benefit we can potentially see with just using an OTS tune vs currently posted gains. @Jajanken86 I usually fill up at 11 gallons and get around 28-32mpg. If you are only getting 190 to a tank, that is just 17mpg. |

After using e85 for 2 years, I wouldn't want to drive the car on 93. I'm getting 21 mpg

Not sure if my mods did anything to help it (despite threads saying it helps a bit) but listed below are my aero/tune mods. Car mods prior - Velox/Verus front splitter, Nur spec front lip, Tomei type-80/80r catback, air filter, no tune. Car mods at this current time - OFT Stage 1, air filter. Velox/Verus diffuser. We can take this further in a different thread or thru pm if you like so we don't derail this thread like prior to the cleanup. |

I think the fact that there are gains anywhere with this im is impressive, especially when considering past failed attempts. We're all just hoping a custom tune might make the graph look a bit better but really there are too many exhaust combos out there for an ots tune to be feasible

Dirty overlay but..93 vs FBO 85. Not a bad result without custom tuning on a custom IM.

That's a good point. Low end torque equals instant gratification but this is the wrong car for that
