Do our cars really need a catch can? Maybe if you are tracking it? The road racing sanctioning bodies used to require them but beyond that?

Watch my video I made. I caught quite a bit in just a couple months time. Normal daily driving with some spirited driving.

Interestingly, it seems to be some of the technological advances on our cars that make catch cans worthwhile. A combination of DI and lightweight, energy-conserving oil seems to be the cause of higher than average blow by in the PCV system.

Over time this will keep you intake manifold clean. Less oil sludge build up.

I am in! Love me some fantasy football! I have a few openings in my cbssports.com league; if only a few people are interested I can have some invites sent out.

Took some pics in the sketchy ghettos late last night. I carry concealed with me just on case.
All pictures were taken with my Note 2.....no too bad!

If they needed it, it would have come from the factory.

This is the benefit.

However I see much less oil consumption than my S2000 had (1 quart every 1,000-3,000 miles was my average consumption, depending on driving conditions). The Consumption was high enough the manual even said something along the lines of "Do not be alarmed of the oil consumption, adding a quart between oil changes is completely normal".

I am boosted w/o a catch can. I will probably build one at some point just to keep my intercooler clean as an intercooler works as a wonderful device to catch oil... lol
