Good question. I can understand if it was an auto. From the majority of what I had seen, most editors were getting 6.2-6.4. Anything over 7 just sounds like the driver must be obsessed with fuel efficiency. It's even more weird since this one has better rubber. I figured that sticky rubber would net it in the 5's even if only by a hair.

PMSL! What a fail eh?
My 2 pence is that the TRD kit in the UK is a disgusting marketing gimmick. It costs ten grand more, and for that you get 1. The crap TRD wheels that are too small to take the uprated TRD brake it. 2. Front, side and rear skirt...that I do really love so no quibbles there. 3. No ducktail spoiler! Unforgivable as I always found the standard spoiler very busy and the TRD boot spoiler just makes the rear so much better. 4. TRD exhaust system. 5.... So yes 10 grand buys you not very much, but it will still sell like hotcakes to those desperate to get their hands on any GT86...or thinking they will be a member of some super elite by buying this marketing gimmick. |

Sure are some insecure FR-S/BRZ owners. There are better cars. So what? For the price, the FR-S/BRZ is an awesome car.

has anyone noticed a big difference in price between ft86 (25K) and fiesta st (17K)? in US FRS is no brainer costing $25K vs fiesta st $22, however if the difference were more like in UK and one doesn't mind wrong wheel drive - then for daily driving the fiesta st would be a nice cheap fun car.

In the UK, base model GT86 is £25k. Fiesta ST is about £18k.

You can't go wrong with the twins unless ur a 1/4mile guy. It's a fun car w/ a warranty.

That's a good question. However there's no point. Swapping in an LSX V8 instead would be cheaper and easier.

LOL. Or instead of spending all that time and money to void your warranty anyway, just drop in a supercharger or turbo kit that will get you what you are looking for.

Oh I agree. But if we're talking about engine swaps...
