oh - wow, that is a very low reading dyno. I thought 156 was your baseline

Pocket Dyno. it does 0-60 times and 1/4mile times too (which are pretty much spot on to my times at luskville)

Waiting for my stage 2 ecutek tune from fa20club. Drop in filter and a header back exhaust, hoping for some good gains on 93 tune.

Tune expectations

stock car with tune 10-13 WHP
air intake with exhaust and tune 20 WHP
E85 and tune 30+ HP

Since I am probably going to supercharge the car I will be getting the Stage 1 tune for now. No need to waste money on the air intake as one is provided with the Vortech kit. PS. The vortech kit looks outstanding in the car. It does touch the hood barely FYI.

That said, I've never seen so many clueless people trying to get gas all in one place all at the same time.
I keep meaning to go check out the pumps there to figure out if their 91 had ethanol...

How'd you find out/know it's Shell gas??

I know there's this site which names all the US/Canada ethanol free brands. http://pure-gas.org/

Has anyone ventured into the fuse box and found which fuse it tied to the trac system? Tired of always having to remember to turn it off.

Sorry I am late to the party....

Hi all,

Just wanted to introduce myself here in the Ottawa thread. I obviously live in Ottawa and as of today have officially become a proud BRZ owner. Sadly I am stuck waiting for my BRZ to land. It is currently in transit from Japan and will arrive here in Ottawa in mid to late June.

I figured I may as well become acquainted with some of you lads and ladies before I get my hands on my BRZ, this way, hopefully I will know who to park beside at M&M's if any of you go. Between now and then, I do occasionally show up at M&M's in my current car. Maybe I will see some of you there.

Thank you for reading. I look forward to meeting some of you in the future.

P.S As a result of a few headache's received from the people I bought the rims and tires off of for my current car. Would anyone have any recommendations of good places to shop at for rims and tires here in Ottawa? I would like to pick up some goodies for my BRZ before it arrives.

It was discussed somewhere else... I think redflagdeals.

Plus: I asked the attendant if they knew the ethanol content and they said they get it from shell.

If you ever watch the tanker pull up you'll see it comes out of the shell depot right next door.... and if you watch it pull out it often goes to the shell station just down the street.

Cheers

Welcome Karbon 13!
I know all about buying goodies for a car yet to arrive ( let alone ordered )
I stockpiled 75% of my parts before my car was reality

Don't dismiss online shopping for wheels and tires ( and everything else you can think of) we are so close to the Us border at ogdensburg - try tirerack and discounttiredirect and I used genometuning.com for the majority of my Cusco/D2/rexspeed/greddy/takeda stuff too.

Trackwerks & Nextmod are on merivale and might have some deals - I haven't used them personally but worth a look

Many of us are M&M regulars so keep an eye out and come say hi

Cheers
Ken
