I wanted Hankook RS3's but they will be dual duty until I get dedicated track tires next year, so I decided on Continental Extreme Contact DW. 245/35ZR18

Should be good for the track.

Wheels
I got some very nice but aggressive wheels, they barely fit within the fenders.
PhatFux Ballzy (yep, that's what they're called)
18x9 +35 offset.
They'll give the car alot of street cred and should also work well on the track as they are under 19lbs, so not RPF1 range of lightness but still very good.

Springs
I will also be adding Eibach ProKit springs and crash bolts to pull some more camber and lower the car a bit (1" lower F/R). These springs will also give me less of the power-on oversteer at the limit that this car exhibits, since the spring rates are a bit softer in the rear (less Scion F/R bias, more like GT86/BRZ).

Tires
I expect to be able to run these Conti tires for this year and also next. So far, I have 3 trackdays booked, probably will end up doing about 5 this year.
Reviews are very good for this tire, grip in dry and wet is excellent and durability is quite good for a Max Performance Summer category tire.

Continental Extreme Contact DW (Dry-Wet)
245/40R17 for $129 each (perfect diameter for 17")
225/40R18 for $146 each (perfect diameter)
235/40R18 for $156 each (a smidge taller)
245/35R18 for $170 each (perfect diameter) more than 2" wider tread than OEM tire, almost 10"!

Those are stellar rims Andre. Going to look real good. Make sure you bring your kids to a few of the meets this year because I want to ask them what's the name of the rims you bought? Should be good for an awkward moment. LOL. Congrats. I have a feeling springs are going to be on my wish list next year.

I got the rims locally from TrackWerks on Merivale, the distributor for these wheels is just in Montreal.
They are priced really well for the size and weight ($799/set) and I saved on shipping to boot.
They are not hubcentric but I will be getting some rings for them before mounting.

Looks like you blew me out of the water!! LOL!

If my rear end is too high, I may need some
advice on lowering my car for Summers only.

I actually wanted to go with 255's all around, but wasn't convinced they would fit and probably a little overboard for street use (heavy and too much tire) anyways.

But when I get track wheels, they they will 17x9 RPF1s with 255's for sure.

If you want adjustable lowering without spending alot, I would recommend Ground Control sleeves and springs.
At $429 they are only a few hundred more than a good spring set but have the height adjustability and they will work with you to select the best spring rates based on your needs.

When I upgrade from the ProKit and stock shocks (next year or after), I will probably go with GC's and Koni Sport shocks (adjustables).
