Every time one of these stories pops up I get that much more nervous about driving my car in public.

I know Quick Service Restaurants aren't shining beacons of integrity, but I hope that kid was terminated right then and there for trying to deny causing property damage.

That's what I was thinking. Owning up, admitting the accident? Shit happens. Denying responsibility? Get fired.

For sure. Kids make mistakes but when they are working at a job they need to learn to be a little more professional and take some responsibility for themselves.

Thats what made me so mad. If i would have jumped out and he said im sorry and said he will get his manager I wouldnt have flipped out like I did, but he immediately started to run inside and was like "i did what?" and wouldnt admit it until his boss walked around the corner, he then tried to shake my hand and apologize.

I have mixed feelings about that. I think part of the reason people deny stuff like that is they assume they'll be fired even if it was an honest mistake. Some of my best staff are ones who we've kept around even after they've made a big mistake. They learned that it's not the end of the world, or an automatic pinkslip so they don't try and cover it up the next time.

I will say bravo for the BK owner for taking full responsibility for what his employee did.

I'm sure a valet at a fancy restaurant can do worse.

Laziness and/or status symbol. I will never valet my car, or even my parents cars for that matter. I've heard way too many horror stories.
