Installed exhaust and Intake, pedal dead spot. How long does it last
How long does it take(in miles) for the ECU to relearn and adjust to the new airflow? I have also noticed at lower RPMS in 6th(2000ish) engine seems to be a bit more sluggish then normal. I only have about 50 total miles.

what intake did you put on? if it's something more than a drop in filter you might wanna get some tuning done.
When I did my exhaust I reset the ECU and it drove like a dog for 50 or so miles till it worked out what was going on. |

around 50-100 miles on the dead pedal spot.
but a tune will make you give you more gain out of those mods. |

Did you reset the ECU by pulling the battery cable?

Is it normal for the car to feel sluggish after an intake and exhaust install? For some reason down low car does not feel the same
I probably now have 150 ish miles on the car now since the install. I am guessing the AFR is out of whack. The car does not have the same punch it used to when it was stock.

To reset the ECU you just pull the neg battery connection. That does not void the warranty. ECU tunes technically yes, but from what people have said, the dealer can not detect the tune. General tunes are safe if you get it from a respectable tuner. Please be clear, I don't advocate defrauding Toyota or Subaru.

I had a dead spot on my Injen intake until I got it replaced with a better one. The first one I received had some seriously bad welds that somehow made their way inside the tube which to my own guess, disturbs the airflow. How does your tube look like from the inside, is it smooth or does it look like this?

I have a Perrin exhaust as well and mine didn't feel sluggish, in fact it felt a little more responsive, so it's probably the intake since that seemed to be problems for some of the people installing them, car probably just needs to adapt or something.
