Think I saw a post on their FB page that they were having issues with a mail server. I wouldn't doubt their use phone use ramped up as a result.

Makes sense. We can't use it with the gas struts so best to tuck it away, just in case.

Went to check the mail this morning before the mail person arrived for the day and what did I find? My grimmspeed hood struts! Wow was that fast shipping! Thanks a lot guys I'm going to hopefully install these today

i do have 1 question tho.... i received 4 bolts. only 2 of them seem to b used (per your guide). are the other 2 just extra?

You should've used all four size 13 bolts for the top of the dampers that attach to the hood. The bottom ones are what the bracket slide into (that's two), then the top ones you place after the brackets are slid in (the other two). The only ones reused are the size 10 bolts on the bottom that attach to the chassis.

o oops, i thought u just slide into the 10 mm bolts then retighten (fits fine and tight anyways)

That won't be a good fit since it'll be at an angle due to the top part resting against the top bolts. I can't imagine that would last for too long after vibration. Get that fixed asap.
