After getting used to the Scion emblem, I would not consider debagging.

I personally have embraced the idea of the car as a Scion. Much like Acura.....Scion is North American only...in my mind that makes it kinda special.
Because I bought my FR-S in Raven I did swap out my 86 piston Badges for some JDM red ones (Needed some contrast on the exterior to compliment the interior)....and thats about as far as I care to go....unless I can find some decent red Scion Badges as well. |

I definitely agree with this. I could understand rebadging with anything 86 or Toyota related, but Lexus or Ferrari badges? That's just dumb.

Scion is a Toyota to me, and honestly, I think this is Scion's best car they've ever had in this line-up. I'm happy with mine, my dealer treated me well, and I'm overall pleased with everything. I have no problems wearing the emblem.
Just look how many BMW's you'll find on the side of the road while your Scion is still going years later. Just sayin! |

If I were to rebadge ... I would prefer GT 86. I like names that are both alphabetical and numerical. GT 86 sounds like a sportscar. Easy to pronounce. FR-S or BRZ sounds "weird" IMHO.

I'm definitely going to replace the badges. I've ordered the IQ emblems, and I won't even have to replace the Scion ones.
I'll get better mileage, zero attention from cops or car thieves, and I'll be able to use it as a cart inside Costco! Last edited by FRiSson; 12-03-2012 at 09:21 PM. |
