Yea they look wider don't they ? Couldn't find the offsets on the wheels and I can't imagine them running spacers..that would be really ghetto. I'll just ask next time. Or take the wheels off myself. Haha.

![]() What's your view on the size of the car since you've seen it in person? From the pics, it looks tiny, like the last gen Celica.

Yes it's relatively small for a modern FR car. I think the last gen. Celica is longer.. or at least it looks longer. The FT86 looks really compact, and for me personally it's just right.

There's nothing like a small lightweight sports car!!! I hope the weight matches the last celica or better. But im afraid it won't because of the Rwd components and the extra modern safety standards since 2000. I think 2650 sounds like a safe bet. Thats 175 lbs more than the celica base model.

Depends on material. They've used a complex cage though, connecting/welded to the A-pillar with thick frames so it's not exactly lightweight.
My bet is ~2700lbs from the dealership with a few options. |

Is 215/40R17 a weird tire size?
A quick look through tirerack's website shows that there isn't a lot of tires offered in that size. 215/45R17 or 225/45R17 seems to have a lot more choices available. |
