Auto blip is the most important feature for me.
My car spends 90% of it's time on the track and this feature helps immensely.

if your car spends 90% of its time on the track, learning how to properly heel-toe will do more for your lap times than any ECU remap you can find

I'm also working on my Flex Fuel Kit.

I might post some pictures of it.. depends on how far I get.

For daily driving, I find autoblip useless and only works 25% of the time. I usually heel-toe it unless if I'm driving with boots. I would much prefer an aggressive traction control tune that doesn't feel like I'm hitting a brick wall when I start fishtailing it.

Aren't you able to put 3 features on a map even 4 with the dash display? Exemple : flatfoot, autoblip, launch control and 0-60 timer. You could do flatfoot, launch, tc control and 0-60 timer. I've got 4 map and they are all different.

I'll throw my .02 in here...

I am not a fan of autoblip. It's not intelligent enough for me and it can be downright dangerous if you're already a heel-toer. I've not had the opportunity to try the RaceRom TC features but they sound more enticing than autoblip.

John - quick question, I noticed on your latest release note for 1.08b4, it shows the following:

Quote:
11/23/12

Now using the latest dealer reflash on all STG1 Tunes.
Could you confirm that this is the latest flash that addresses Service Bulletin WQC39 as described in this thread http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23502

If so, I don't want to get my dealer work done until 1.08b4 is sent out, as I'll just end up negating their flash with my older version.

Thanks!

Either I haven't noticed it or I just don't play in neighborhoods but what exactly does the RR TC do? And to utilize it I would guess you turn off the stock TC?

You do need to turn off the stock TC. From how John described it, it sounds like a more refined TC.

You may not have it in your flash though - what version are you on? I believe it was added in 1.08b3.

Preparing December's Final Pump Gas Release.

Manual Version will be pushed out, then Automatic version

This release will not include Autoblip.

If you'd like autoblip just request that in a ticket.

Release Notes are now updated.

-John
