Haha its all good the jokes started coming before I had even got home :P Normally I dont sleep in the car while its moving but apparently the road/area is pretty notorious for it, its just like driving on the moon.

Yeh im looking at getting a VZ commodore wagon, a little bit of an update from the VR, can grab em for about 10k with 100,000km on they shouldnt lose too much value from there in the next 12 months.

Edit: Anyone know if I can drop the manual transmission out of the VR and put it into a VZ?

Subject: Pre-ordering FT-86

Hey,

I am wanting to express my full interest in pre-ordering an FT-86.

But before I go ahead with that would like to know some details.

Such as a ball park figure for the car.

What feature might be coming with it.

What options will be available.

Main one I want it price.

Thanks heaps if you can help.

--
Regards,

I asked if they would be neg on the price...

"Yep a fixed price.
$1000.00 deposit to secure one."
We sure are getting rolled here!!

Garage
after reading all this stuff this arvo i went to sydney city toyota who are run by toyota and the salesman there said this: "we don't know anything but that it will have the 2.0L boxer engine for sure and it will be rwd" he went on to say that it is definately coming here... (well duuh), when queried about the price, if it will be at that 43k mark he said it looks as though it will be around that ball park figure, to which i said well that screws us up because we are all expecting a cheaper car than that, to which he defended himself by saying "well we dont know exactly what we are getting or when exactly we are getting it so it all depends on that, but it'll be around that price could possibly be cheaper, but we dont know enough about it yet, we are just trying to get it past the ADR requirements at the moment"

i didnt ask about deposit because with NO information i ain't thinking about putting one cent down without info/specs/price or something concrete
