Works for me, so long as we have one map that has just the tune and no other display/RaceROM functions engaged, I'm good. The only other desired option I have which may not be possible is to have a completely stock map.

Do we need to let you know if we have an aftermarket intake or do you have general intake tweaks already built in? I noticed some bogging with my AIRAID but wasn't sure if I didn't drive long enough to have the ECU learn or not.

8000RPM ? Perhaps I missed the post a ways back but I thought 7800RPM was the magic number for reliability concerns. Does limiting it to 2nd gear reduce some of the potential stress?

I like the rev being slightly higher. There are many times in autocross that you just need to stretch a gear. Last one I was at, had to sit on the fuel cut for 100 feet. It sucks. If you shift, you will have to down shift almost immediately after. Is not worth it.

I like it as well. If I want to shift before 8k I will....but I don't think I will

it was set there because NA doesnt make anymore power past that point. but with 8k in second you can hit 60mph.

I would be very interested in hearing about the recovery process and the steps involved to getting your ecu to take a flash

I'm starting to think it was my USB that got loose now.

I was checking out my computer while waiting for John to call and noticed the slot really really sucks. I'm going to be using a different set of USB ports when I try again with John later.

One the bright side, this is the earliest I have ever been to work haha

I mean, john is up now. if you've got time before having to actually work, give the man a call. If he's busy, he'll tell you so.

I have to say, your attitude about the the whole thing has been top notch is probably very much appreciated. I think most of us would have had a tantrum or two including myself

There a quiet storm of crazy brewing inside but honestly you can't be mad. These are the risk we choose to take when we mess with our cars. I'm not going to be mad at John cause its not his fault, not mad at my car cause it didn't do anything so if anything I can only be mad at myself for getting too excited and not going home 1st
