This was where the customer had bought the kit:
http://www.advancedkeys.com/index.htm Its the only time I have used this company and it went pretty well. They do not have very good tech support, however I was able to find answers to any questions I had through their forum support. They have both a knob start option as well as a push start which im guessing would work better with the OEM push button.

That's cool but I want a smart key, not a smart card device thing. Need something to attach to a keyring with minimum bulk.

Its done by holding down the unlock button. Takes a few seconds to pop it.

I wouldn't trust BestBuy to replace my headlamp bulbs let alone touch my wiring...most of those guys are crap.

And I had ordred heated seats for my FRS. The dealer called me today and told me the driver could be full heated but passeger only partially heated because of where the air bag or some type of sensor was located. I know others on here i believe had leather seats installed unsure if heated or not but does anyone have any input or ideas I can recommend to the dealship or who they are contracting with to get around this. I am trying to get them to order the part from subaru the heated seat buttons where the spot is empty in our cars but the salesman said he doesnt think he can get one from them and it may not be compatabile???? I thought these cars are prettty much the same and also if Japan and other countries of different levels of interior upgrades how come in the states its seems so hard for us to just plug in play especially when they are the same car? I would have gotten the Subaru limited but I love the way the FRS looks especially and the front end. Should have just had an 86 special ordred shipped to the states lol payed for the shipping |

My car is at the dealer ship. It makes me at times want to eat my deposit and back out on the deal and see what the next model year or two comes out with. I am just in love with this car though
![]() And after reading that motortrend article about BRZ coming with a turbo in the near future it makes me wonder.....but who knows motor trend and what there source is I ve searched the web and found nothing but plans for the BRZ to get an extra 50 horse NA. Do you guys think there is any truth behind the article..sorry getting off topic
