I don't know EXACTLY how good but I'll tell you this. I have an ECUTek dealer about 3 minutes from my house, AMAZING reputation, over 25 years in the business. BUT, when I go Turbo I am STRONGLY considering flying Visconti down here and getting him to tune my car on a Dyno.

I think it was a joke, hence my response. AFAIK he's already working with crawford (they've tagged him on their facebook engine tear down).

I'm running 93. I'm not willing to run E85 until there are more stations around here or a true flex-fuel sensor is put in place.

John,

You might have answered this but is it possible to just use a tactrix cable to upload your tune? I realize the cables are on backorder and my buddy down the road has a tactrix. If I purchased the ecutek license could I use it just to flash the map? I saw the comparison to a tactrix cable to the ecutek one but didn't see if it could be used or not (just saw you need other software to datalog, which Im aware of).

No problem, just figured I'd ask. I don't mind waiting anyways for a cable, I just wanted to see if that was an option. Now everyone else will know you can't use a tactrix as well.

Hey John,

So it's looking more and more like the resolution to the cel /traction control light issue is a flash from the dealer. Looks like the most recent fixes have been software instead of hardware. Have you received a copy of this update yet, if so is it similar to my flash update that will need to be retuned?

Now I'm a long time Subie dood.

I've always had a Crawford AOS on my car - because it WORKS.

The problem was always the price.

Well good news!

I'm going to offer STG1 Flash Package that include the Crawford AOS.

I'm thinking $1200 + shipping w/ the ProECU Kit & STG1 Flash

What are you thoughts?

What CEL from traction control light?

I only know of one person that got a CEL and it was from the traction control harness coming unplugged.

But yes I do have the updated dealer flash.

When I have a little more information on it I'll make my decision on what to do

My thoughts are that it's too bad I got in on the group buy, or I would jump on this. Still, 750+ AOS < $1200 =)

I have stg1, and got the Cel+tcl. P0011
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17314

I think he means however the people getting the P0016-0018 codes with the cam + ecu replacements.
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15577

There seems to be an ecu reflash coming down the pipes to remedy this instead of the cam replacements.

To be honest I'm not sure who this is but I found this while I was surfin the interwebs.

It's a Stock BRZ vs my e85 tune

Richness on the e85 tune is from the lack of ethanol content

Anyone know who this is?
