Can the band clamps be reused?

I'm thinking about adjusting my tips out some in hopes that more of the sound will escape out of the back of the car instead of under the car. I currently have them pushed all the way in for a low-key look.
I also need to reposition the middle clamp because I clamped it down in the way of the driveshaft bracket. Makes it hard to get to that bolt, which is needed to lower the driveshaft when installing a shifter bushing.
Yes you can reuse it, once or twice at the most, just make sure you tighten it properly.

An you do bring about a very valid point. In our test car we had the top of the tips flush with the bumper opening, I am sure that it will make a slight difference in the drone characteristics of the system. Please give it a try and let us know what you get.

My tips are flush with the bumper, they may even poke a bit.

Hella-flush exhaust tips?

Well just got done. The bigger resonator FITS!!! And the car is ...... QUIET at idle and cruising ranges of the RPM. It does "WAKE" up when you drive aggressively or nail it. Best of all it has not lost its unique tone and sound characteristics at all under WOT and high RPM's. This larger resonator should satisfy the stealth needs of the older people in here j/k lol.

There is proper clearance for the driveshaft, and it does hang just a tad lower (about 0.5") from the standard resonator, at least it is not the lowest point in the car.

civicdrivr: Give me a call tomorrow and we can setup a time if you want to switch to the larger resonator.

To all I will let civicdrivr be the judge of the difference in sound and for those that want to get it switched out please PM me for details AFTER civicdrivr gives his feedback.

I haven't received my exhaust yet and I'm OK with the original design as of now since I haven't experienced it yet. When I get mine installed, if I do not like the sound/drone (if I think there is any), can I request the different resonator after I received the original design or do I have to make a decision on which one I want now?

Is it and easy swap if I did want to change it?

Unfortunately, once you get the exhaust and it is used and you want to switch we cannot just simply switch it out for you. There will be some cost involved. We are basically doing this to satisfy everyone out there. This is the most trickiest part about any exhaust system. The tone will simply not satisfy everyone's taste of sound. HOWEVER, we will switch it out for anyone in this first batch of pre orders at OUR cost of the replacement resonator and no additional cost for any fab work done.

I think I'll be fine with it anyway, but was just curious. I don't do a lot of extended highway driving anyway. Any idea when the last of the first 30 will be shipped? I replied to your PM about what tranny I had so I'm guessing mine should be shipping soon. I'll post pics, videos and my impressions once I get it on! Can't wait!

Looking forward to the exhaust GB to be officially completed so you can focus on the intake and get that to market! Keep up the good work!

By the way, how much to install the whole thing if I happen to be in the area this Saturday? Can the stock bits fit in the trunk with the back seat down?

I am part of the first 20 to order this exhaust, is there anyone left that doesn't have their exhaust yet?
I have sent 3 or 4 PM's over the last two weeks with no reply. I understand SRT are busy, would just like a "not forgotten" we have so many to go... these are the ones left to post.......something like that would be great.

Cheers.

I'm one of the last 10, and I haven't received a peep on shipping. I am assuming its still Tip B, incorporates a cat, and regular size resonator. Other than that I chose the cheapo shipping with USPS. Maybe yours got shipped but they forgot to send you the shipping confirmation. I find it hard to believe that they haven't completed shipping the first 20. The last 10+1 may still be a while...

civicdrvr, if you get yours swapped out we should meet up. I can bring my GoPro and we can try and capture the sound difference. Although I don't know if the microphone can pick up frequencies that low!

At this point I definitely want to get the bigger resonator.

SRT, I wouldn't mind coming up there to get it swapped out. I have to drive up with my wife to look at apartments anyway.
Would it be better for you if I did that and let you swap out the mid-pipe or would it be better if you shipped me a new part and I ship you back the old one? Thanks

Yes, you can definitely fit the stock system with seats down.
