The drone is the main disappointing thing for me since I will be driving 2-5 hrs for track events
I would guess the header will only make it louder...

What options did you get? I got the standard length resonator (the long one) and a 200 cel high flow cat.

I got a catless and just drove about 30 minutes. It drones. I'm a little disappointed in that, but the car seems to pull a little harder.

Mine got a little quieter after it broke in. I don't hear much drone though. You might be confusing loudness with droning. Droning is when it resonates at a frequency that becomes annoying to hear.

I have tons of drone from 2.5k rpms to 4k rpms. Its very annoying. I drive 40 miles each way to work at 70-80mph. I took it on the highway today and after 20 minutes it was wearing me down. I've got a catted system. Even around town at <3k rpms is pretty loud. Above 4k rpms, its not loud/droning at all.

The tone itself isn't bad, but the drone kills all the fun. I might just end up getting a different, larger resonator welded in.

I did notice that the car is easier to rev, which is great for downshifting.

Interesting, I have the catless version.

Yea, I just watched it again. Im wondering if it has something to do with the cat or if it just needs time to break in.

If not, Ill end up replacing the resonator thats in it with something larger. I love the design and the sound of the exhaust aside from the drone.

i agree with civicdrvr the drone takes away the fun. the tone is fantastic, its just hard to drive on the highway for any extended period of time.
I thought it was odd that below 4K RPM, it drones and its loud. above 4K is actually quieter
I would prefer the opposite
I may be forced to sell this set up if it doesnt quiet down.
I am definately getting a header and with this exhaust its gonna be unbearable.

Just drove 9 and half hours from Mississippi to Texas and it gave me a headache. What can I can I do to make it quieter? Add another resonator?

Hopefully the drone goes away, since that was the main reason for me buying this exhaust.

At ~75mph and my radio up to 40 the drone still over powers it

I do wonder how much is heard outside of the car. Driving in town Ive been keeping it under 3k rpms because I think its attracting way too much attention.
