Nice. Curious how well that turned out, especially with the reputation of Maaco. I saw a wrapped GR86 in a track day last season and it looked fine from 10' away, but up close it was pretty bad (they wrapped over some hood dings and a PPF strip on the trunk sill, and had new scuffs and chips on the wrap).
Could you also share the ballpark for cost? I'm in Ohio so prices are probably on-par.

Looks like the orange came with the orange peel, but not bad. Orange is the best color so 100% awesome choice! How much prep work did you do yourself before handing it to them?

I didn't want them to do door jams, or anything beyond the exterior. It was 2k normally for their premium package but they ran a 50% off for Black Friday and I was able to book it with my local shop because you had until the end of January to do the work.

There is overspray, there are dust particles, there is a run or two, orange peel but honestly I'm super happy with it for this car (dedicated AutoX, 200k miles). I think the key thing is that this car can't lose too much value from the paint job, something nicer would probably take a significant hit from this paint job just because of the overspray.

100% a Maaco job but perfect for my needs and wayy cheaper than a wrap.

I'm considering doing some wet sanding.. but its a dedicated AutoX car and I'm not sure its worth it at this point.

Not much prep. I filled 3 dents, filled spoiler holes on the trunk, removed fog lights/housing, and removed the weather stripping on the roof.
