'22+ brake pads same as '13-'20, right?
Looks like gen2 brake pads are same as gen1, but double-checking!
My first track days with the '23 won't be this weekend, will drive a friend's '17 86 while '23 waits for new oil pickup tube screen... |

The pad shape and size is the same, but I think they may be a slightly different compound.

The EBC pads I’ve been running are listed as gen 1 non brembo application. Fit and works as it should. I believe the calipers are the same PNs as gen 1.

Gen2 OEM calipers are the same as the Gen1 base calipers (not the Brembos). You'll definitely like the new Gen2!

Ran pads I ordered for my '23 in my bud's '17 86. I would say "no problem" but somehow I knocked the friction material off the pad backing plate on one of the new pads! So I ran 3 new front pads with 1 old DTC60 pad with ~0.080" remaining for most of the weekend, being very easy on the brakes. Ran the old pad down to ~0.060" then swapped in another DTC60 at ~0.080" for last practice session and time trial with full max braking, no prob... Time-trialed in damp conditions, beating one rival in that run group, but main competition got to go out later in the dry, so I got P2, I'll take it!
