Black car with bright silver OEM+ wheels is a timeless and perpetually-sexy look to me.
I've been on the lookout for used 128i coupes, and the style 359 wheels from BMW (I think they're the M3 CSL wheels) or similar would look so good - but that's better-suited to a European sport sedan - I think the BRZ/GR86 would look best with something like a set of silver Enkei NT-03 for a classy/elegant look. Not what you were looking for though.

For the GR86, I want to be really careful not to tread too far into the “tuner” look area I guess. Taking a closer look at some of the Enkei stuff, I’m really liking the GTC02. I love all their stuff, but it’s not usually for me. That one’s doing it, and it’s widely available in the size/color! For now…

Honestly I’m hoping to do nothing to the car for hopefully the first 6 months. Feel out for sure what I like and don’t like about the car, and decide what changes to make from there. Could be I leave it stock for years..

Gotta admit my white STI is a lot easier to keep looking decent. But still I do not regret getting black. It makes asses look good, says 99% of women who wear black tights. Makes twins look good too. Mine has black wheels, tints and red calipers.

I dont know man, I've seen some murdered cars ( Completely blacked out everything ) that look so good, Like spy/secret agent cars XD...or the primary rival in a racing game. Gives that vibe anyway.

Imo black looks great on the twins, the plastic bits blend in nicely.

I ended up going with red. Messed around with wheels a bit in Gran Turismo and think the stock wheels will look great in a bit darker silver.

I loved mine. Looks sick especially in the sun. I didn’t want raven but my dealer gave me a screaming deal. I keep some detailer in a bottle to use in my garage in between washes. It worked out great for me.

Which Gran Turismo game is this? I want to get more into sim racing. I got a rig set up and everything but I only play offline mode on assetto corsa. I can't even figure out how to get multiplayer races going. On games like league/valorant/apex, i mean any mainstream game, you click ranked and then play and thats it. With assetto and these racing games its like menu after menu...

Nice! That’s Gran Turismo Sport on PS4. If you want to race online, GT Sport is a very user friendly experience for that. It’s got a good ranking/matchmaking system, though it’s been years since I’ve raced online. Gran Turismo 7 on PS4 and PS5 will be obsoleting it in a few months.

GTS has an awesome car list and pretty good track list. It is fairly sim-like for most driving conditions, though it gets arcadey pretty quick once you start to break traction. Assetto Corsa is the gold standard in my opinion for easily playable sim but yeah like you said, very poor UI. Assuming you’re playing AC on PC, make sure to look into Content Manager - it’s a 3rd party application that makes setting up races and such a lot easier.

Ohh now see that does look good. The stock wheels are a nice design just a shame they were completely ruined by being painted satin black.

I'll have to see how I feel about it after a few months driving it. Somehow the black mirror caps help me to feel better about the black wheels. Not sure.

Big question will be how to change to silver. I'm a little nervous about painting them myself but have experience with that and know I can get them looking factory-level nice. The worry is that I don't think there are any spray-on options that can hold up anything like a factory finish. I'll have to look into a powder-coating place.. all the cost and trouble is a bummer though.
