I thought that I would be chill out in this purchasing, how I was wrong. Things derailed and I got unhappy and weekly following up after seeing that VON was not being issued.
Ordered on Aug/04
Dealership promissed date: mid-November
Received VON on Sep/23 (this is were I got frustrated)
Promissed date from SOA: Nov/14
Received VIN on Oct/25
New promissed date: Somewhere in December

My only hope is that this unknown date is early December, but both dealer and soa did not keep their planned dates so far. I have a plan for a roadtrip in mid-December, may need to think about a backup solution.

I get your frustration. But there really are a lot of things working against them right now. Chip shortage. Covid closures. Supply chain issues. Employment issues. Trucker shortage. Problems at the ports.

I hope yours comes in soon.

Me too...used to have a plan for a roadtrip around 15 Dec with my brz and now it looks like I have to rent sth like a focus...

Rip to my Thanksgiving tail of the dragon road trip. Does anyone know if you have to change the oil after the 400 mile break in? Maybe I can still take it and break it in on the way if I get the car before the 25fh.

Anybody order recently and got a March time frame for delivery get pushed up? I called Subaru out of curiosity (since I’m waiting for the gr86 as well, to decide) and they said sometime in December, was pretty shocked to hear!

1k, and no recommendation to change the oil after break-in in the owners manual.

Well the car is now mine, paid for and plated, but still at the dealer. We just had a 2 day blizzard and my winter wheels don't show up till next week. This is not the weather for Prius tires!

Probably will be the first one here with steel wheels on it as well... 17s from a Crosstrek, which are supposed to fit nicely.

Anyone in Canada receive thier Car near GTA area? I placed my order from Subaru of Mississauga . I have my vin, and dealer said 4-6 weeks until delivery about 2 weeks ago. So i am hoping no delays and ETA is mid November
