With some of the restrictions loosening up, there's a chance that the autox group i run with will have events resume. I think the big hangup at the moment for resumption of the series is the venue. It takes place at a casino, and as far as I know, they're 100% shut down, driveways barricaded, the whole 9 yards.

Then there's the whole social distancing aspect which is going to make things super difficult in terms of running the events. So we'll see, nothing official on the organizers side yet, just whispers about possibilities.

Snake River SCCA here starts autox June 6 & 7. On-line registration only, and limit of 50 entries. No guests. No ride alongs. No loaner helmets. Masks and gloves while working.

Yeah... I would need a helmet anyway, now that you mention it. Moved assuming I would be able to make up for the lack of good driving roads with autocross. Oh well...

Huh... You would think there would be plenty of empty parking lots available. Good luck with that getting going.

A dumb as it sounds they were pretty common around here at one point. Think they pretty much bolted onto the old bronco frame. Don't know why else so many would have done it.

i'm in indiana, which is mostly open, but i'm essential(snicker). but on the border. so i tell people in illinois i'm from the illinois town that's actually on the border. because when you tell people you're from another state, they immediately assume it takes days/weeks to get there.

the last place, some guy drove 2.5 hours down from the very northern point of illinois every day for work, but then when i told him the company was based in indiana(a 30-45 minute drive), he was shocked and asked if i was renting a hotel room nearby...

this one says it's on a jeep cj7 frame, but i believe the bronco had similar dimensions, so either should work
