They're almost bothering to overcharge for good tech these days!

Foam tips are the way to go if its not custom molded. Not sure if that's an option yet.

My next set'll be UE18+. Some day. Hope I don't need replacements any time soon, but sorta wouldn't mind.

Anyhow. Enjoy!

A bunch. But all my cousins are either married or still in school since my mom is so much older then her siblings.

if you don't miss it, a CD is a decent way to go. i mean, nothing's paying much interest right now, but it is 'something'...

Debating about getting a pair myself. I have normal AirPods already and a set of Bose QC35. I don’t really like using the QC35 at work because I constantly need to take them off to talk to coworkers, and my AirPods don’t do a great job filtering out noise when I do want easy “ear plugs with music”.

I do use the AirPods just about all the time at work though. I don’t expect amazing music quality either. It’d just be nice to have noise cancellation in the AirPod size package along with the convenience that I already enjoy.

Is the noise cancellation and transparency mode pretty decent?

I've been rocking a set of jlab's air sport in a shop environment for the better part of 2 years now. The ear wrap bit make them great when being mobile and constantly taking on and off my respiratory equipment and doesn't interfere with my safety glasses either. I have to work with sanders, grinder and air hammers and it is amazing to not have to crank the volume up to block them out.

The touch commands on them are a plus. Tap the left side to pause and have a conversation and tap it again to return to music.

Really my only complaint is sometimes I have to reboot them to get them to pair correctly every so often.

Might check them out. Airpods weren't a thing when I bought them, so I don't really know how they stack up.

It’s pretty normal for me as a software engineer. Either writing code/looking at code, on calls pairing with teammates, on meeting calls, etc.

So most of those things I can either listen to music or need to be on calls anyway. No different from working in a call center and wearing a headset even if not on calls and just doing data entry.
