First off, WHAT are you trying to do and second off - WHY?

I wouldn't trust that jack, sitting on the ground and fully extended to jack up anything -

Bubba just looked over my shoulder and snorted "why didn't that dumb shit put a cement block under the jack?"

(Bubba gets right to the point - )

Tell Bubba that jack is designed to get vehicles unstuck. One of the ways is to lift it high, then push it over using the jack as a pivot I did end up using a 6 inch block to get it high enough.

I am trying to get the rig under a covered area behind my dads shop. It doesn’t run and there is not much room behind due to a few trailers being in the way. The easiest way ended up being picking up the rear and pushing it over a foot or two at a time.

Gotcha.

Yep, us old timers are very familiar with those old bumper jacks. Jack the car up, take off the flat tire and then watch the car slide over and off the jack -

Then walk to the nearest farm and ask the farmer to borrow the screw jack off his truck.

OR, you could ask to use his phone, kick the chatty old ladies off the party line, call Bubba's wrecker truck service, wake him up, and he will be there with a really bad attitude, lift up your car while you put your spare tire on and charge you a days pay.

Yep, the end of a romantic date -

A's beat Sox 5 to 1. 3rd row right at first base. Fun game! One beer, but it was like 9%.

i've been to 3 sox games because a supplier gave the company tickets. the first 2 games, i regretted not taking my laptop. the last one, thunderstorms were in the forecast halfway through the predicted game time, so the entire game actually moved forward at a decent pace for people getting paid millions of dollars to entertain me. it was an interesting game that time around.

Between the game, the crowd, a smartphone, beer, and nachos, I don't see how anyone can find baseball in a stadium boring.

I’d rather watch a modern F1 race then baseball lol

part of the supplier ticket always includes a ticket to the food pavilion before the game. so i load up on their dime.

i otherwise generally don't buy food at ball games because i can't justify throwing away $18 on a single beer, or spending $15 on a small tin of nacho's. i can get a whole case of beer and a solid months supply of nacho's for that back home.

and while i've got no problem attempting to play baseball, the way they drag out every single play into more than a 15 minute ordeal drives me nuts. like i said, threaten them with a thunderstorm, and suddenly the pitcher is throwing strikes, and entire innings last no more than 10 minutes each.

I agree.

My father took me to a baseball game once, one hot July day, when I was about 12 years old. It was a 40 mile drive to the ball park, in an un-airconditioned car. We had to walk about a mile from where we parked (because it was cheaper) to the stadium. We sat in the sun baked bleachers (because it was cheaper). We got nothing to eat or drink (except terrible tasting city water) because it was too expensive.

After that, I opted to stay back on the farm, sitting on the shaded front porch, sipping sweetened stump tea and listening to the game on the radio.

You know what's surprisingly much better than watching real sports? Watching anime about sports. I haven't watched a baseball show, but I've heard good things about a couple. To date, I've watched two very good shows, one about volleyball and one about tennis.

Big pass on that as well. I have tried and just can not tolerate anime in any form. The Peni Parker segments of Into the Spiderverse were even more than I could take. The whole style just turns me right off.
