Nice parts! When I look at this thread the JDM Revolution 86 comes to mind.

Just looked that up I see the visual resemblance. Cant find any info on the build though.

Finally had nice weather on a day off to complete one of the doors. Took me most of the day to transfer everything over. I believe I can cut a lot of time out when I do the passenger side.

Had a few holes for clips I had to open a bit with a Dremel. But most important was the overall fitment was perfect!!

Bolted up the first time no adjustments made

Getting close to sunset finished in time

Stock door was heavy as fk. Not 50lbs I had heard, my scale says 43lbs stripped

So after I get the passenger side done this will be good for 64.5lbs weight reduction off the car.

Side note one of the bottom window stoppers is a big heavy piece of steel. I could easily make it out of aluminum and chop another pound off each door.

New car weight should be ~2375.25!

Yeah most likely going to paint match everything. Still considering dry fenders, hood, roof first. I may leave the roof carbon, but yeah not doing this for the carbon look

Paint is heavy, leave them unpainted for weight savings!

Got lucky and happened to be browsing the Siebon site some of their dry parts were heavily discounted. Plus a found a great online code got both the trunk and doors for ~$3k shipped. They may have been selling off stock I don't see them listed anymore, only the wet which is much heavier and more for looks

Finished passenger side a few pics of the inside. Also removed these black heavy chunks of steel from inside the door. I thought they may be a window stopper but after moving the windows up and down they do nothing that I can see -1 Free pound!

Everything swapped

Also have a new weight loss mod im going to be working on will take my time. This sucker is heavier than I expected. Got a used Dash bar for $100, it weights 17lbs. Going to swiss cheese the FK out this thing!
