I know it has slightly thinner rotors. I am not tracking my car and I am just trying to save weight while maintaining the similar braking power. This is just for daily driving on the street. If it has the power to stop WRX, my car is lighter than that. My concern was disturbing the front/rear balance and since you didn't replace the rears, I wanted to get your opinion. I might go with RR racing or AP Racing @new2subaru recommended.

Ok cool. Im at work but I did have a file saved at home. This WRX kit had the closest to stock bias while using stock rear brakes. No worries on that.

There is a chart that shows the bias. Wilwood WRX is best the RR Racing is close too

Damn that is great you are going to be really light. You must be stripping out the interior. I think I can get down to 2450 without doing that and some craftiness (aka $$$) on lighter parts.

Correct, I will have one corbau fx1 still have carpet, then rear seats and trunk gutted, ac delete, light wheels, alum drive shaft, lightweight exhaust / hood exit sometimes, chromoly flywheel etc etc lol..

I will post a build thread shortly as it's enjoyable to see all the builds here and continue the tradition

omg both look amazing, I think I would go more for silver aluminum look to offset everything else without standing out too much (red aluminum maybe too strong). black gloss does look nice on the knobs, imo

wont be going red on this build since the 86 threading is silver. I like the gauges in aluminum, the knobs in black. That's why I'm torn. I'm afraid the aluminum knobs will look too cheezy like an add on instead of a premium piece

Headers weight 9.75lbs


OVerpipe Weights 3.5lbs



INside Diameter at the end of the Overpipe is 60mm.



Took a 3 day weekend coming up to install these badboys. I will start off with my current Invidia FP & HKS catback but they are 56mm ID piping. I will eventually get a 2.5" FP & Catback to match up (should be 60mm ID)

This will take 13.25lbs off the FRONT
NEW estimated weight after install ~ 2534.75lbs !
