Depending what is out there when I retire in 2023 the Jag F Type R is at the top of my very short list.
And yes I can afford it, the upkeep and the insurance.

Being a car guy, I do understand the appeal of a big block Mopar, but they're ancient (no offence to humfrz), and as much as I'd like one myself, the 3-speed truck transmissions would annoy me lol. I should also add that my interest in Ferraris ends at the last manual model. I believe that's the 430 Scuderia? However I'd probably "settle" for the 360 Stradale with a stick.

Oh those transmission can rock your world with the right modifications. Even the ATs!
Age doesn't matter since neither would likely be my DD.

They have managed to over-style most of their cars now. The Jag F is perfect.

This IS true. Those new F types are way nicer than new Astons. I was ihnking more old vs. old but your right new vs new.. F-type takes it over anything exept for a vantage imo.

And the price is actually pretty reasonable all things considered.

Still with you on that one. Have seen a few in the wild now and even though I thought I would get over it I haven't. They still look like they were damaged in a fire to me.

I must be the only one with commitment issues, I'd just lust from one car to another and never end up picking one.
