Start button - ok
Steering wheel - fine as it is
Shift lights - the dash already shows that
speedo - it’s redundant, get rid of it and replace it with volts, amps, temp, pressure
dash controls - rarely set while driving
silver and plastic - just nice grade finish plastic, flat all black
deletion of manual e-brake - insanity. It’s a must have for this car.
alcantara - uh, no, not needed. I’m driving a sports car not sleeping in it.

Here's a quick list of possibilities:

1. Start button/more controls on steering wheel
2. Flat bottom steering wheel
3. Shift lights on top of steering wheel
4. Deletion of analog speedometer
5. Dash controls pointed more towards driver, less straight ahead
6. Less silver plastic accents, more dark or carbon accents
7. Deletion of manual parking brake*
8. Alcantra dash covering

*This one is doubtable, for cost and also drift implementations

Here's the 488 Pista interior

Here's the 2018 86 interior

and here's the interior of the Supra prototype. Ehh....

Any other interior features you would like to add / delete from the current design?

Nah. I know people with Ferraris and it's a non-stop Merry-Go-Round of repairs, tuning and shopping for cheaper insurance. I can do without that headache.

It's more about the aesthetic of exotic car designs. I am impressed how Toyota/Subaru were able to make the 86 so functional and stylish. There are definitely some exotic car cues in the interior.

Usually when cars get redesigned "from the ground up" they either move laterally, either more towards sporty and less functional, or the other way. Will be interesting to see what they come up with.

I'd take an 86 over a 488 and avoid the headaches.

I actually like the current interior of my 86 coming from a 1988 Toyota pickup it is top shelf. The only small change I would like is to move the center AC vents and put a trio of gauges in the current spot like the old 240Z's.

LOL. no. Firstly if you own a Ferrari and need to shop for cheaper insurance.. You couldn't afford it in the first place.

Repairs are not cheap...DUH?!?. Problems?... Maybe on old ones if you buy used but check the Ferrari forums and you will see that this is a myth with brand new models. Either way you cannot buy a Ferrari and complain about money spent on it that just makes ZERO sense.

Every Ferrari owner I have ever met has spend more money on the garage their car sits in than the car(s) itself..They don't track their cars.. they RENT the whole track for a day just to be alone on there.... Trust me these ppl are not shopping around for cheaper insurance.

This is why you see so many supercars on leasebusters... people think they can.. but they cant'.

Classic. Go make more than 300K a year and come back and tell me that with a straight face.

*Even then I don't even think that's enough income to really own one of these without "the headaches".

Conclusion: Ferraris are not cars. They are marvels of engineering and unfortunately ppl in our tax bracket just cant even begin to understand what it means to won one of these so we try to tell ourselves we don't want one.

Who doesn't want a Ferrari? If I won the lottery, literally first thing I'd do is go to the Ferrari dealership

Me.
I have zero interest in a Ferrari. Not even if it was free to me. Should I win one in a lottery I would drive it once just to say I had. I would then immediately sell it and buy a Concours quality 67 to 70 big block Mopar. If I won cash in a lottery I would skip the Ferrari altogether.

Bentley or Jag for me, thanks.

Odd, the 18 F looks like a modern 240Z. Hey, Nissan, you idiots!
