Why does anyone care, what anyone else thinks of their car purchase?
They like the Z-car, they bought it. We like the FR-S, we bought that. People that pay attention to what other people think of them have some real self-worth issues, they should probably get some counseling. |

The 370Z is actually kinda ugly and its really a hatchback and not a coupe, except if you get the 370Z roadster. Which I think looks pretty cool for a roadster. The Nismo 370Z is bad assed looking though but way more expensive, like $42k.
Seeing a FR-S in person, it is a way better looking car. |

Pay them no mind. Everyone looks to validate their own purchases. I do find it ironic they act as if they're driving $400k exotics rather than a cheap, sporty little car.

What other said? Who cares...
They have their own opinions. They don't HAVE TO like FRS/BRZ |

Its actually a pretty entertaining thread. A couple of laughs but, most guys seem level headed and make valid points. There is a lot of support for the FR-S/BRZ too. Then again I only read a page or two.
Its the internet of course, so there are trolls and asshats. But ehhhh what are you gonna do |

Yeah, i really didn't see anything negative. One guy on the front page even said the FRS was a better platform if you take the power difference out of the equation.

I didn't read many posts (because who cares?), but of the few I did read, most were right on and not at all disingenuous:
1. FR-S and 370Z are not really comparable. 2. FR-S is fun, economical, and handles well, but lacks the power of the 370Z. I can't really argue either of those points. |

When I bought this car, I was definitely expecting a good amount of hate from all ends of the spectrum.
So far it hasn't disappointed me, haha. |

There will always be something better than the FRS/BRZ just accept that fact. As long as your car is the "best ever" for you it's all that matters.
I've never understood trying to justify your purchase by comparing it to more expensive cars/different class cars. And why would anyone HATE you for owning a Scion or Subaru, get real. |

![]() Nice street car, but a tad to nervous around a racetrack because of its obese weight.

You know, most of the opinions over there seemed educated - very different than your typical 350Z owner. Im glad most of them seem to get it, the FRS/BRZ is not really comparable with the 370z. I would agree that trading in a practically brand new 370Z on a FRS or BRZ wouldnt be the best idea at all.
