Locking lug nut?

I bought my car at an auction and it had these locking lug nuts on it but the key is nowhere to be found. Does anyone have a way to take these off without the key? Or maybe know the brand of this lug nut so I can buy the key?

Any help is appreciated.

Did you check under the spare? Mine is in the tool kit but it is a bit of an escape artist.
Any decent tire shop should be have a key which will remove it.

You can do this as well but it is sort of hit and miss if it will work.

Stock locking lugs are McGard, but unfortunately unless you have the key code for the locks you won't be able to get the right key. They're all different, so there's no universal one for them.

That said, you can buy a locking lug extractor that'll probably ruin the lock, but will get it off.

My son is a used car tech for a dealer and runs into this all the time. He usually hammers a cheap socket on and uses a breaker bar. When that doesn't work, it's air hammer time and lug stud replacement.

I had some removed with an air chisel, and the guy never messed up a stud.

This cheap socket method worked for me on another car. Lug nut somehow cracked and broke off

Go to the dealer, most have the master set of keys. I went to mine, they brought out a case and we tried them all until we found the one that fit. I wrote down the code so I could order a new one and was one my way.

although they are "unique", there is only a handful of these key designs.
so if you are willing to open up however many wheel lock pkgs and hope that you won't have to go through too many.
this would be the best bet
must be friends with parts guy or service guy..lol
they can always use the opened pkgs for new car wheel lock installations anyways

If you're going to order new ones anyway, you should just order aftermarket ones. As PeterFRS mentioned, factory sets don't have many combinations.

if it is oem subaru you can get it taken off at a dealer. thats what i had to do when the previous owner lost the key.
