For a mighty and expensive super-car maybe. But not really for this car.
Race-car speed usually requires big engines with big power and thus big $$$. While race-car like handling can be had with smart/effective engineering and lightness. As long as the 86 is faster than a decomposing log or say, a Prius, everything will be fine. |

As Im sure has been said frequently, the most important thing for me and I think a lot of people is how well the car takes to modification.
If the car is set-up in such a way that aftermarket parts suppliers can easily develop products for it, then I dont care if it starts at 200 HP, as long as the motor can handle up to 500 HP and I can do it in a financially viable way. Things are looking good with this one. |

competitive with what. an n/a 4 cylinder being competitive with a 300+ hp v6 in the 0-60 or 1/4 mile is just unrealistic.
