Yes, it's mine. Picking it up this afternoon. Photos to follow. I'm currently saying a sad goodbye to the trusty old BMW.

PoRco and WS12888, unless something goes horribly wrong, I'll be out at M&M around 8:00 or 8:30 if you want to see the Firestorm in real life.
That is great news. Congratulations Collin. Just missed Ken last night at TG. Sadly I will not be able to make it to M&M tonight to see the car. Have to pick my wife at the airport.

Was just at Mendes. Your firestorm is smoking hot and gleaming in the garage. They are just finishing it up. Have fun at 2 pm

Also there is an asphalt that just arrived and is being cleaned if there is someone else waiting for one.

Brian the gentlemen that ordered the hot lava picked his car up on Wednesday and I told his friend Mike in sales to A: get Brian on line and B: Get him to go to merivale tonight at around 8-8:30 pm. Mike said he will let him know.

Thanks guys, it's hard to believe the car is finally here! Now begins the struggle to keep it under 4000 rpm for 1500 km. More or less.

A couple of quick snaps I took on the way home. Not the right time of day to be shooting this sort of thing, but I couldn't wait.

See y'all at M&M around 8:00.

Klinn: the firestorm looks so sexy by the water. Congrats!

Now, hopefully mine will arrive sometime in july. Happy canada day!

Edit:
Did you ziptie your front plate on? Did you request?

Finally! Looks great - congrats! See you soon. I'm registered for the July 7 MCO autocross with my son (and will try to get my wife to go also).

Nope, the plate is screwed in place. So far, all the Ottawa dealers seem to be installing it that way instead of flipped up to go in front of the bumper cap. But it wouldn't hurt to remind them how you want it done. I emailed a cropped view of Slick's car to make sure they knew what I was talking about.

Yeah, it's great to get it in time for the long weekend. I'll have to check out how they celebrate Canada Day in Montreal, Toronto, Barrie...

I'm sure yours won't take too much longer. Hang in there!

Great, I'll see you at the event. Should be a lot of fun. I just have to keep reminding myself that it's on Sat instead of the usual Sunday.

I've got an appointment on Wens to install the sticky tires. Got to scuff them in, at least that's my excuse to drive around some more...

Hey Klinn,

Firestorm is an agressive colour. Suits you.

Nice pics Mike! It's cool when there are multiple cars out so you can set up shots with repeated shapes.

In that last picture, it looks like I'm trying to convince Paul that Firestorm is the way to go, but he isn't buying any of it.

Hi guys. I'm from the Belleville area, and just picked up an ultramarine 6MT. I'm curious if any of you have had a chance to try the cars out on some of the "local" twisty roads. Back in my streetbike days, I really enjoyed blasting around Gatineau park, highways 508, 511 (this run from Calabogie to lanark is a hoot), and Perth rd from Kingston to Perth. I have a friend in Ottawa with a WRX, and we plan on hitting these roads at some point this summer. If anyone is interested in hitting some twisty backroads, I'll post up when we're doing it. Also, there has been some interest from the GTA guys for doing a meet for something similar. It would be nice to get a bunch of us together for a backroads run starting around Kaladar and heading East. I miss these runs on the bike, but I think this car will also be a hoot in the twisties.
