On AT not MT, also 2017 model. Havent seen tune for 2017.
Great suggestion, however my reasoning for catted headers is posted a few posts down. Just trying to get some help with what I am asking for. Not to sound unthankful for other suggestions.

Tunes for MT car

you could also try 02sensor spacer in rear 02sensor not always 100% sucessfull in stoping cel

http://m.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_nkw...=m18+o2+spacer

with warantee they will notice the header anyway regardless of it throwing a cel

Oh forgot
catted header is not 100% guaranteed not to throw P0420 cel code, its about same sucess rate as an 02 spacer on catless header

Got in contact with dealership a couple days ago. As long as no CEL they will work on car, given non OEM part is not cause.

Yes correct they dont rearly care if you have aftermarket header or other components intill theirs a related issue. Then they will start ducking and weaving trying to pin the problems on aftermarket part like header for engine issues fueling issues or heat related deterioration of anything under bonnett ( no heat shields on most aftermarket headers)

I never got CEL with my catted header... but I did OFT a few weeks later so I guess there's a chance it could have triggered one.

Hope you don't have a powertrain issue later on, cuz they sure will blame it on the header once they have seen it. Header and a tune is no difference then just a header to them really for waranty stuff

Read most of the post. Dude got busted for crossing a line. I am a pretty safe driver, never been pulled over. Yes, I know "all it takes is one time". Willing to take the risk.

You know what, I didn't realize that the catted headers weren't smog legal.

Yeah might as well go all the way, only reason to go catted is to stay street legal. My post is pointless if the car is illegal anyway.

Not going to comment on the risk only that a loud sporty car is a loud sporty car, you're doing something illegal, period.

Hope all goes well for you, I'm shopping for a header as well so I'll be taking a similar risk.
