Reason why I got the exomount 2 instead is cause I was scared this one would block my nav screen

i dont think it would block ur nav screen, since this is mounted where the CD goes in. u can still play music using disc. but u have to removed this 1st if u plan to change the disc.

My current solution for a mount is using my exomount straight onto the dash. super strong but it does have some wobble. When i don't need the phone mounted it sits in the center console which i've removed the cupholders and put non-slip rubber in the floor so it will stay put on its own, even with lots of movement.

Back from the dead.. Haha.
I wanted to know if anyone has mounted a phone in this location? I'm having trouble finding a mount that would sit in the cubby hole and project out enough to be able to have a slight tilt to the phone. Any suggestions? Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk |

CD insert mount is the best in my opinion. It puts the phone at the same level as the head unit where the NAV would be. This way you still have your peripheral vision on the road instead of having to look down or all the way right at your phone.

I still use my head unit for music though, so I don't want to cover it up. I've been looking for a place to mount the phone where it blocks as few buttons, screens, vents, etc. as possible.
