Got busy today and installed a new belt, Fluidamper performance crankshaft damper, Perrin Accessory pulleys and a slim fan shroud with dual 1150 cfm fans.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Lots more room for activities! The Fluidampr has definitely made the motor rev more smoothly at high RPMs. Great peace of mind for a track car with a stock motor.

You should never expect 16 gauge US Stainless steel to rust.

JDL, bought not too long after you got yours. Titanium ceramic coated too... That's the OP/FP flanges. I thought I snapped a pic of the header with speckles of rust all over it, but I guess not.
The flanges got rusty first, then the welds, then random speckles on the tubes. FWIW I only posted it BECAUSE it was from JDL. It's a grade of stainless that rusts (though it seems like maybe the flanges aren't extremely high quality...) and I'm surprised yours hasn't rusted...

I heat cycled it similarly to your use. The issue is the salty roads. That was the whole reason I got it ceramic coated... I was less than impressed. I already contacted them with no response, BTW. It wasn't all that visible from the engine bay so I never pursued it further.
Car is sold anyway ![]() oh, here's the pic I sent to JDL... ![]() anyway, didn't mean to poop all over your thread, but it was relevant to the question.

Installed a Koyo high pressure (1.3 bar) radiator cap. This should help improve the pressure in the cooling system to make it more efficient.
