When something is being sold for a certain value here just forget about exchange rate and consider it as the same price as there.

I see what you are saying, and agree with you on value. However, the question was how much is $65,000CDN in US $. Importation laws aside, If someone in the US had $52Gs burning a hole in their pocket, and had to have this car, that is what it would cost in the currency that individual is used to dealing in.


It was nice when our dollar was above par.

Yep agreed if that was the scenario. It usually isn't though.


The strong Canadian dollar is great when we want to buy something but truly sucks for our industry when we want to sell stuff.

It has a brand new v160 transmission and a built engine, those two alone are probably in the 25k mark.... Still a bit over priced but it's not simply a case of "hurr durr let me throw a big turbo on my car and sell it for 25k more"

Just saying, quality costs money and someone who really wants a properly powerful ft86 will need that transmission and it's a huge pain in the ass to install never mind the massive cost.
