Extended waranty

So I decided to call my extended warranty company because I have a rubber window seal getting caught on my window. Guy says they will cover anything mechanical or electrical. They don't cover seals, trims wheels stuff like that. If I can prove the window is off track, they'll cover it and fix the seal.

Not to bad of a warranty I guess for it being a used car. I didn't pay a lot for the warranty because I bought it at employee discount price (im not an employee there, its just how my finance guy sold it to me)

So off to scion/toyota to see if the window is off track which I suspect it is

So they won't ever cover any leaks because leaks come from bad seals and not mechanical failures. .......

Sounds Legit

I thought of that. Seals aren't mech. But they are within. They might cover. Find out when I have a leak.

I hate extended warranties. I've had 2 vehicles with them that constantly declined everything - even after buying their Platinum Gold Plus^2 packages.

Maybe they should offer a separate warranty on seals and gaskets - those seem to go more than anything else. I've never had issues with the motor or trans itself.
