Not flush panels
Anyone know if Toyota will fix this?
My passenger side door is not flush with the front fender. |

Nope, they won't fix it as it isn't really a warranty issue. Pics would help show the problem. You could try adjusting it yourself or take it to a body shop.

I have a creaking rear deck, even with a TSB, Toyota deems it "Not Abnormal noise" so they won't fix it. On the other hand, my Camry had a creaking Radio over rough roads, Toyota replaced the radio and added felt. This car is just treated differently.

Was it always like that? Or has it happened for no reason? The only reason I have seen panels on a car misaligned was some sort of collision. E.g., on a car that went through some bushes, no big damage you would see after hitting a solid object, but one fender was slightly bent and slightly misaligned with another panel. Yep, like mentioned, pictures would allow us to compare it to our cars to see if it is "normal".

My tsb thread has a link that shows how to fix this. I had this problem too and only took a minute to fix it. p.s. I can't post the link to the specific post with my cell phone. But that link is in above tsb thread. |
