The most obvious thing to me is that you brake too late for many corners and it makes your cornering speeds suffer all the way from entry to exit which hurts your speed on the following straight which is where you lose seconds of time.

Mike hit that on the head. When I raced pro mx and taught riding school, the number 1 lesson is smooth is fast.. Master the technique and the speed will come....A steady pace beats a fast sprint every time....


Doesn't mike offer a driving school? Not knocking what you do just suggesting a 1 on 1 might give you a nice start to a more successful season. Good Luck
