Of course, it's not just the spoiler weight it's the downforce it generates. Hahaha

It is the spoiler. I have it as well and the dealer themselves put it on when they installed it.
Bit of a pain weighing myself, my passenger and all my gear every time we get in the car but the sticker does say "caution" so I don't want to take any chances.

This is the only warning sticker that the FR-S/BRZ should have come with:

I have that same sticker on my 2016 and it's a bone stock model, no extra parts at all.

Oh wait, I have the trunk mat... I guess they just slap it on there for anything at all.

Yup, that's what the sticker is known for, all that means is it's a port installed trunk mat or was done at the factory

I wonder how much the sticker weighs? Do they have to add another sticker warning about the weight the first sticker added? And then another to warn about the 2nd sticker? Will it ever end?!

I would love it if they did. Each sticker adds at least +5 horsepower. Totally helps with power to weight ratio.

@Malcolm you have TRD lowering springs installed by SET (Southeast Toyota) which lowers the car's carrying capacity.

@D_Thissen all of the available options are installed here at port.

As stated before ... it's slapped on for any additional items that were added to the car. I do not have lowering springs, fogs or a spoiler, but I do have the trunk matt. Interestingly ... I do not recall seeing it until after the 1st free service, but I may be mistaken.
