From what i know, Toyota And Subaru do NOT have the same Audio Harness plugs. Subaru however does share the same audio harness layout as Nissan/Infiniti and Suzuki.

Subaru shares more than people might expect with Nissan. Alot of the Switchgear is the SAME stuff you find in Nissan/Infiniti's. I remember taking off one of the switches in my STI, and it had "Nissan" Embossed on it. The Climate Control Brains are the same too i believe.

It's Likely all the Wiring for both cars(FRS-BRZ) are laid out the same, but at the stereo end of the harness, both have their own unique ends/pin layouts. Making Cross swapping Decks a more involved task.

I guess we'll find out once someone rips apart both a FRS and BRZ =p

Subaru most likely doesn't "share" components. A lot of different manufacturers purchase parts from the same suppliers. Which is why you see many small parts like switches, controls, and especially electrical devices that are the same or similar across vehicle brands. Usually large composite components, like instrument panels, are sub-assembled by a tier supplier before being shipped for final assembly. It's simply too much work for everything to be made and put together at one factory by one manufacturer.

Or at least that how it works in the trucking business...
Sorry to be

Here my car at Motion Show with DC Sport Prototype Exhaust, and some new wheels. My exhaust sounds great, the added grip from the wider contact patches, and better tires. The bad is the stickers (only for the show) and the heavy wheels. But at least I don't have to worry about my wheels so much. I will running a better quality later, but these will be daily wheels. The stance is XXR 530 18x8.75 with +35 offset all around I think, but I have to double check. I am running Hankook tires with staggered fitment, have the specification later. Also I was going to run my new Perrin FRS/BRZ front liscense plate holder, but I was afraid someone might steal it. I will put it on for the show, right now as you can see it just staging.
