It uses a Honeywell GT22, journal bearing with a billet compressor wheel.

Yeah....the 5858 will be more than enough turbo with the stock configuration. The EFR 7163 has a similar flow rate to the 5858, did you guys choose the 5858 for the cost?

That is awesome you guys jumped into the turbo already. Watch this little motor be a shocker like some out there holding 500+ all day no issues.

Currently we are trying to finish up our intercooler kit before we go back to our turbo kit. Prototype testing has been successful, and now we are working on the development of the billet end tanks we will be using.

Got some work done on the turbo kit today. Almost have everything buttoned up with the exception of the intake, and mounting the BOV. Other than that, it should be ready for the rollers

Here you can kind of see our adapter flange. Similar to the K series engines, the Ecoboost does not use any real type of exhaust manifold. The stock turbo is bolted directly to the cylinder head.

Thought I would stop by with another update. We finished the billet end tanks for our intercooler kit. I will get some more pics once they are actually welded on the core.

And here are some updated pics of our turbo kit!!! We will be tuning throughout these next few days. I will make sure to update you the results

Once we have dialed in the stock block, we will then turn our attention the building the spare long block we purchased to see what these can really do! Here are some pics of the teardown we did on our Ecoboost long block.

There's something about, custom piping, turbo/intercooler that makes it all too interesting for me.

Sorry guys. No official numbers yet. They have been slacking. When I left today, I saw one pull make 322whp, and 309wtq at 17-18 psi. Still extremely conservative, and still turning it up. I think we made that same power at 22-24 psi on the stocker. I'll check back tomorrow.
