@Infamous Performance

How much would it cost for your shop to install the JR SC carb kit (JR-SCFA20-FT) in a 2014 FR-S? (I live very close)

Can the JR SC air intake be modified to use the TRD air intake? I wasn't sure if the TRD air intake needs to be removed in order to make room for the SC intercooler lines.

Would it pose an issue using the kit with the FT86Speedfactory catted UEL header?

Thanks in advance for answering the questions... you can also PM the answer as well if you like.

You can't use TRD air intake with JRSC. You can use your header however it won't be CARB legal-not sure if CARB tune would work with other than stock header-you are going to need it tuned. Flash and go from Delicious would likely to work. I have JRSC, stock header, oil cooler, DT flexfuel kit with flash and go tune running e85. If I need to go back to CARB tune I just run 91 few tanks change the MAF sensor and flash JR CARB legal tune back. Car is fun to drive. Plenty of power for me. I haven't been able to take to the track yet. Hopefully soon.

I'll need to try out the FF kit on your JRSC soon.

Yes you can as long as the shop you are using (or yourself) have an EcuTek cable.

If you have a CARB kit, you can use your exiting cable to flash the car yourself.

How long will the stock header last on the track using the CARB tune?

Ours showed no significant sign of deterioration in about 22k miles of being boosted on the CARB tune.

Of course, they won't last forever; no catalytic converter does in any situation, but I suspect they should last just as long as on a NA car, given similar driving conditions, based on what we've seen.

22k miles is a lot. Good to hear the car works reliably well with the JRSC kit and CARB tune.

If anyone hits 60k miles without any problems related to the JRSC kit/tune, then it's basically good (if not better) as factory OEM reliability. 60k is the ultimate test.

yes I know someone who has a ecutek cable. I noticed at delicious tuning website says that for 150 dollars more it will be tuned. I dont know exactly what that means... like is it plug and play already and just upload the flash?
